Lesson 32 : Neither... Nor in Turkish To say Neither..... Nor, we use "ne... ne" or "ne... ne de" let's see some examples:
●Ne sen ne de o haklı.
●Neither you nor he is right.
●Ne ben ne de kız kardeşim partiye gidecek.
●Neither I nor my sister will go to the party.
●Ne Ali ne de Ahmet evi temizlemek istiyor.
●Neither Ali nor Ahmet wants to clean the house.
●Ne öğretmenler ne de öğrenciler okula gidecek.
●Neither the teachers nor the students will go to school.
●O ne zeki ne de güzel bir kız.
●She is neither clever nor pretty girl.
●Bu ev ne güzel ne de temiz.
●This house is neither nice nor clean.
●Arkadaşım ne Türkçe ne de İngilizce konuşuyor.
●My friend speaks neither Turkish nor English.
●Kitabı ne aldım ne de okudum.
●I neither bought the book nor read it.
●Ne tiyatroya gider ne radyoyu dinler
●He neither goes to the theatre nor listens to the radio.
●Bu sabah ne çay ne kahve içtim.
●This morning I drank neither tea nor coffee.
The number of
ne is not restricted to two.
●Ne Türkçe, ne Arapça, ne Farsça biliyorum.
●I know neither Turkish nor Arabic nor Persian.
